BETWEEN SAND AND ICE: CULTURES IN EXTREME CLIMATES
Led by Mariama Dalanda Diallo and Hibak Jama, this workshop explored the challenges and resilient responses of the Inuit and Amazigh desert communities. The workshop offered the chance to consider how these communities, which are often hidden in the blank expanses of maps, are using creative solutions and pushing for policy changes to secure their own futures. Below you can see a selection of the prompts developed by Mariama and Hibak, which were used during the session.
