The Fi Wi Road Team are glad to welcome you to the fifth annual Fi Wi Road event, designed around the central theme:

‘Beyond Maps, Into the Future’

This year’s theme, designed and led by the 2025 cohort of Fi Wi Road interns, departs from a typical conference format to bring us together in new ways. Through creative encounters and workshops the exhibition looks to the geographic tradition of mapping with a different lens.

We hope that the day will encourage you to consider what is lost when we look at maps, and how alternative approaches to looking at the world can help us to envision a more just and sustainable future for everyone.
